Our Staff
Mason
Co-Owner and Lead Electrician
Experience and training in the Marine Corps gave Mason Rice a “can do attitude”, an uncanny ability to problem solve, and strong leadership skills. After finishing his military service, he trained with the Seattle electrical workers’ union.
Mason has always wanted to be an electrician and loves the work. For over a decade now, he’s been taking on big projects and working hard in his dream job.
Brittney
Co-Owner and Office Manager
Brittney Rice is Ascend Electric’s co-owner and back office manager as well as Mason’s wife. A mother of five, she handles our clerical and logistical needs while homeschooling and rallying the troops at home.
Brittney takes pride in connecting on a personal level with new and returning customers. She values creating long-lasting relationships with people in the community and building a sense of trust.
Cole
Electrical Apprentice
Cole is a fourth-year electrical apprentice who looks forward to getting his Journeyman’s license soon. He loves working as an electrician because it gives him the opportunity to work with his hands and expand his problem-solving skills.
Cole enjoys having a job that takes him all over the Pacific Northwest. He is always in search of our next great fishing spot.
Samuel
Vehicle Organizer
Samuel is Mason and Brittney’s youngest son, soon to be three years old. He loves helping to clean out the work van, pretending to drive, and swiping tools from Daddy’s tool bag.
Clarabelle, Pete, and Coco
Mascots
Clarabelle, Pete, and Coco are our cows. Alongside our barn cat and 54 chickens, they keep the Ascend Electric family grounded with their udder-ly down-to-earth attitudes.
